Prince Nymph
$2.50
This very popular pattern was created in the 1930s by Doug Prince of Oakland, California & was originally called the "Brown Forked Tail". The fly is known for its distinctive features, including a peacock herl body with white & brown goose biots for the wings & tail. The Prince Nymph is often used in fast water to imitate stoneflies & is considered one of the best searching patterns ever developed. Trout are known to continue eating the fly even after seeing it many times.
