Oxford Wool Kebari
Simple, durable, and deeply rooted in tradition, the Oxford Wool Kebari is a subtle killer that excels in clear water and pressured conditions. Tied with rich, earthy Oxford gray wool for the body and finished in the Sakasa style, this fly features soft, forward-facing hackle that flares toward the eye—designed to breathe and pulse with the current or angler input.
The use of natural wool gives this pattern a muted, buggy appearance with excellent water absorption and natural drift characteristics. Unlike Futsu-style kebari, which rely on stiff, upright hackle to hold the fly in place or provide a static profile in fast water, the Sakasa design of the Oxford Wool Kebari is meant to move—subtly mimicking the motions of emerging insects or struggling aquatic life.
