Kujaku Kebari
Striking yet simple, the Kujaku Kebari in its green variation is a traditional Sakasa-style tenkara fly tied with vibrant green thread, which gives the fly its bold, natural appearance. The green thread body mimics the subtle coloration of emerging insects, while the soft, forward-facing hackle creates lifelike movement in the water. The reverse hackle design (Sakasa style) allows the fly to pulse and flare with every drift or twitch, making it irresistible to fish.
This fly stands apart from Futsu-style kebari, which feature stiff, upright hackle to maintain a static presence in the water. The dynamic, flowing hackle of the Kujaku Kebari is perfect for active presentations, whether pulsed, drifted, or swung, providing a natural, insect-like action that draws fish in.
