A dry dropper rig is one of my favorite fly fishing methods and my first choice for many small streams and medium rivers! The dry dropper rig is a tandem rig of two flies with the dry floating on top of the water and a nymph hanging below it, either tied off the bend of the dry fly or on a dropper tag.
